Slow news day....and I've already rearranged my sock drawer...

From Ananas Noire to Zapotec Oaxacan...and everywhere in between. Here it's B, @seven (7) out of 46:
Bacon Lettuce and This
Beefy Purple
Big Bubba
Big Lou
Big Zac
Black Brandywine
Boxcar Willie

For you's Mega Growers (we know who you's are), figure a percentage of the total (mine's 15.2%)

The biggest section in my tomato seed collection binder is "S". Not that I have grown them all {LOL}.

To knitters, it's yarn...to TJers, it's Tomato seeds...

FWIW, S (Santa Maria, Saucy Lady, Sheboygan, SOTW, Super Sauce Hybrid) is tied for 2nd with M (Maui Sutherland, Mortgage Lifter, Mountain Magic, Mountain Merit, Mushroom Basket)

@Cornelius_Gotchberg That's it? Just 7 in your largest letter category. There is something wrong with you. You have been a member here since 2021 and you have such a meager choice of seeds to grow from. How can this be? This is a place where seeds are so easy to come by.

I just counted how many 'B's' I have and I have 174 tomato varieties that start with the letter B.

Bro, instead of cleaning your sock drawer you should start begging for and trading some seeds. This is just unheard of for a member of the Junction.

I have 208 varieties that start with the letter B. Do you need a care package? Presumably with more than the letter B involved, or maybe you want to have the largest collection of "B" tomatoes? Are you okay, asking for @MissS ?

Yoikes! I'm getting the idea that I should've kept my keyboard silent and just be thought a fool...

Anywho, yer going to be planting all those? Mine only include those which will be sown a mere 27 days from today, April 2nd. Please include percentage.

Mercy me...I've awakened Sleeping GiantS!

FWIW, I'll be planting 46 varieties; I have 44 in house as I await a package containing final two (2) from the 01085-1763 zip code. I'll be starting 66 plants, there are 66 spots on my template; all that remains is which goes where.

Cleaning your sock drawer for one measly Packer sock? You have already lost one? Good grief Gotch, throw it away and start working on your collection.

Can't do it. I have about 60 (that I’m planting this year), categorized by nematode-resistant, indeterminate slicers/beefsteaks, indeterminate cherries/grapes, and dwarf/determinate, a dozen or so each. These categories make it easier for me to assign garden space. Not gonna alphabetize the whole list!!!

(That's right, a dozen cherry/grape varieties. I used to think that 3-4 cherries was quite enough, because they are so tedious to pick at the height of the season.0

Out of about 325 varieties, B outnumbers S by the slimmest of margins.... 5! 45 B's, 40 S's.

If the lovely and long suffering Mrs. Gotch discovers that the husband who adores the ground upon which she walks has...um...fudged about cutting back on the number of plants for 2025 (Cutting Back = from 61 to 66), it'll mean some TJer turned him in.

Glass half full?

If that happens, he'll just point to you's and claim "See honey, it could be worse...!"

I feel like maybe you should jump from 61 to 66 to 100 🤷🏼‍♀️ call them volunteers. They volunteered to grow after you planted them in soil ☺️
