Dynamite Mater Magic?

The name sounds gimmicky & I'd always pass them by when perusing the fertilizer aisle. Plus they're so small, in their cute little tomato shaped containers. But I saw a video from a trusted grower who did comparisons using 9 ferts over a 3 month period, & it was a clear winner. I see you can buy 2-packs online from Home Depot cheaper than buying in store.
I'm sure some of you have tried it--thoughts?
I grow mainly in Earthboxes so they might not work well in them but I do grow a few tomatoes in ground also.
Thanks

I should add, the fertilizer was used during seeding growth. But I wonder how it would do after also.

At a glance it looks quite high in nitrogen for tomatoes. Most of the tomato specific fertilisers I've seen are higher in potassium than nitrogen.

I Googled the NPK ratio and you can get a 45lb bag of 8-5-5 for the price of three pots of Mater Magic - https://www.newcountryorganics.com/8-5- ... b-bag.html.

The ingredients in Mater Magic are meat meal, feather meal, bone meal, blood meal and sulfate of potash, so it's a pretty standard organic mix.

I don’t know if this counts but I decided to try it on my indoor micro tomatoes I had 24 plants all has the same mix ..I cannot positively save it changed anything other than I did get more blooms on all of my tomatoes but I have no idea if it was just the plants or the product.. the real test would be using on out door tomatoes and do a test give one plant this stuff and another a different kind,.
