Beni Kodama watermelon

This variety is very early(60?-70 DTM), very small (about 2 pounds), very tasty and VERY seedy. So seedy that it is nearly impossible to eat, as it is. I will try to squeeze the pulp through a sieve, to remove seeds, and then freeze it in small containers, as an experiment toward something more pleasant to eat.

Cool. What color and size are the seeds? How easy to chew are they? The seeds look small and black in the Baker Creek picture, but pictures don't always turn out how things look.

Seeds are small, some tan, some brown, both with a very small bit of black at the tip. I don't chew watermelon seeds, so I wouldn't know how easy it is. I am not bothered by the very thin white seeds, as I swallow those with no problem.

Sounds like the Kaho watermelon BC sold a few years back. Small and mostly all seeds. A waste of my time.
