Whatcha watching?
The new season of Justified just started on Tuesday. Watched the first 2 episodes last night. The original series is one of my favorites so I have high hopes for this.
I'm trying to slow watch The Bear, another great series if you ever want to see what the inner working of a kitchen are like.

Re: Whatcha watching?
Finishing up season 9 of “Alone” where they are in Labrador. 3 of the original ten remain. None are really thriving as life sustaining food is very hard to come by. My money is on Juan Pablo, he has the best strategy, conserve energy, but the three remaining people are all very likable. Karie Lee is a hoot and has a great attitude, I’d love to see a woman be the finalist. Juan Pablo is the smartest one about strategy and game play and smarter in that regard than even the physician Teimojin.
I Need to start to watch season 2 of Joe Pickett. I’ve read all 23 of the Joe Pickett series books. Tried watching “Red Sparrow “ but found it to be unwatchable, very unlike the novels.
We watch some MLB baseball. Just one of those low effort deals in the evening to wind down from the day. Really only like the home announcers, though, so if it is on Fox, ESPN Or Apple TV we might watch it with the mute button or find another show. The National announcers have their favorite teams and players and none of them are the Astros.

I'm watching anything free and I'm interested in.
Can't count how many times I've seen the Nazis get pounded in the ground.
Lots of cooking shows on YouTube.
I have my favorites and look forward to every episode these folks put it..
Mostly but not all Mexican.

I cut the cord about 15 years ago. We got a bunch of streaming channels for 99 cents a month for two months for Prime day. What are we watching? Our own Babylon 5 files!

SO GLAD to be back! I was locked out for about three months, for some strange reason.
Missed you all terribly!

Starting to watch the new Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. It's as good as Voyager or Next Generation.
We finished season 1 of Le Bureau, a French spy series with convoluted plots.
Before that we saw Ted Lasso, which was surprisingly good.
A few months ago, watched the whole run of Mad About You. I'd seen it years ago but it was new for my partner. Still funny!

(Almost) any free, old spaghetti western on youtube. There are some that are basically unwatchable. And, I don't like the new ones with the modern foul language.

Right now I’ve got a few free months of Apple TV thanx to an iPad purchase. So I’m watching Foundation, then Ted Lasso followed by Severance.

World Series of Poker, $5k No Limit Holdem final table but that's done and will probably watch some On Patrol: Live for a while and see what the dumb asses are up to. It seems like Shark Week is actually Shark Month and it's hogging up some of the Nat Geo stuff we watch. Not much on tonight.

Several shows about the history of eugenics on YouTube.
More programs about Irish slaves.
The Barbary pirates and the Barbary slave trade.
The USS constitutions roll in the war on the Barbary coast and the US Marines roll in Tripoli.
And how it was the first time the US flag was raised on foreign soil.
Old testament biblical studies on the book of Genesis and how it compares to other stories from other religions.
Israel and Palestine problems.
White trash in America and the division between the rich and poor.
Rodger Waters on censorship.
Rick Bayless making mole sauce.
Rick Bayless making sopes.
Overall a typical day in Worth's house of well rounded continued education.

The Open from rainy Liverpool. Harman the Hunter being stalked by big game golfers Jon Rahm amd Rory Mcilroy. Local favorite Fleetwood also in the mix. Cameron Young is the only other American besides Harman with a shot at the Claret Cup.

Watched “Ford v.Ferrari” last night. Enjoyable movie, wish more movies were like this one. Casting was phenomenal. The movie never really lagged for long, good script. No nudity and gratuitous sex scenes, thank you very much. So many great scenes, I liked when Shelby took out Henry Ford II for a spin in the GT40 and reduced the Ford scion to tears.

Re: Whatcha watching?
Found a lot of footage shot by German soldiers during WW2 on YouTube.
And civilians as well.
Totally different perspective than the German propaganda films.
Diaries also being read.

Re: Whatcha watching?
Watched some stupid movie called Sniper 2.
It showed someone making special ammunition for accuracy.
I make ammunition for accuracy and what they showed was about as ridiculous as could possibly be.
Sticking a hole round in a lathe and using a file on the bullet to make it sharp.
Pouring powder in a shell casing without a funnel and powder falling everywhere after being carefully measured.
Seriously.
Other technical parts were way off too.
Even the rifle changes from the one he started with because the one he started with was a model 98 Mauser that wouldn't accept a scope because of the straight bolt handle.
How he going to make this work with a scope?
Well they changed rifles.
The one with the scope was a Russian bolt rifle Mosin Nagant.
Where do these idiots get their information and how stupid do they think we are.
It was almost enough to make me stop watching.

This movie showed up on my youtube feed, last night.
It's 37 years old, now?
Now I'm feeling a bit old.

Women's World Cup soccer matches this morning. We were fortunate to tie 0-0 with Portugal and so move on to the next round. Guessing there will be no three-peat. They just don't look right. Something's missing.

Re: Whatcha watching?
The other day it was Father Goose, with Cary Grant and Leslie Caron. Technically a war movie, I suppose.
