Putting Up The Last Peppers
The peppers are now history. The sweet peppers (orange Tangerine Dream and both green and ripe red Marconi were cut up for tray freezing. On the hot side there were small jalapenos and Pizza in the colander and ripe and unripe Prairie Spice in the basket. Also the last six Daniel Burson tomatoes. I see a few fried green tomatoes in my future.

There weren't enough jalapenos to pickle and can up but Pickles suggested just chopping all the hot ones up and making mixed hot pickled peppers and so I did. They came out pretty too.

Done with peppers for the year!
