New member from Richland, Washington
I am happy to find Tomato Junction! As a longtime gardener I was an active member of Tomatoville--then one day I changed my email server, and something got messed up and I got locked out- I tried for weeks but never got back in- emails to the admin got nowhere---I could read posts but was not able to post anything! I have been SO frustrated! Then last night I tried doing a Google search--I remembered a member named "Worth1" at T'ville, and it came up with Tomato Junction and here I am ! (thanks, Worth!)
I turned 87 a few weeks ago, a wodow of 4 1/2 years after my husband of nearly 50 years died. My garden is my therapy and life-saver! I have Macular Degeneration which caused me to gove up driving 3 years ago- I still see well enough to sew some (I was a serious seamstress until then- had a beautiful embroidery machine-my heart broke when I had to give that up) When Covid came, I started making face masks, and have probably given 500 masks to anyone who wanted them!
I have a small yard but it is full of flowers, herbs and veggies--I love starting my own plants on my indoor growing room, and have a small greenhouse. Other than my vision problem I am able to do all my digging and yard work- I work circles around my younger neighbors!
I look forward to making new friends here--it is difficult seeing text and typing, but I work at it!

That sounds like the pointy-haired boss of Dilbert trying to impress his team.

Um, okay Tormato, I admit I am NOT the person who actually is able to help. You got me.

I do, however, have a shoebox full of leaves...
