free trampoline... for the garden
Trampoline? Tramboline? Trampouline?
However you spell it. One of these things. 14ft across, so it says.
I see these free once in a while. What use can it be for a garden?
I have a cheap fcaw wire welder.
What could be made by unsumming these parts?
I've been thinking about going to an overhead string system for tomatoes, but can't decide if this pipe would be useful for that. I've never had one apart. The system would need to be moved each year...unless I go to a permanent tomato patch.
I should probably try to grab it just so some poor kid doesn't end up with a concussion and lockjaw at the same time.

Raise it up and make a tomato gazebo. You may need two or three to stack. Without the bouncy part of course. That could be laid on the ground beneath the plants to suppress weeds and cushion the fall for those leaper fruit.

I use the "cloth" in the back of my truck to keep the mulch/manure from blowing out... works a treat.
The springs and other metal? No clue. Maybe fence posts or something.

Probably is a pretty good tarp I suppose.
I had to look up ramps. Wild leeks? I wonder if those are affected by this allium bug we have here now.
I was thinking a 1/2 length hoop house. Probably 2 like that would make a full size one. I'm not how many tubes make the circle on that thing, or how heavy. I just need about an 8x10 at most. I see these things for free pretty often - this one is rustier than most. Tramps and basketball hoops- must cost a bit to buy, and then have to be given away for free to get rid of.
My brother has this size and I just could not watch his kids on it.
I'll bet Bower could use it though. After all, a wise man once said, "Build a better moose trap, and the world will beat a path to your door."

Success???

I think that moose would beat a path to their door and then kick it in...lol.. he does not look happy. He was probably trying to reach the lettuce they had growing under there.

Whoa that is messed up!
Never heard of moose eating lettuce but the thing might've been in his way to get at something else.
They have terrible eyesight. This fella surely regrets getting involved with a tramp!

Poor baby.

You can't argue with a closed mind.
You might as well be arguing with a cat.

Re: free trampoline... for the garden
Just saw a fancy trampoline yesterday, in my far corner neighbor's backyard. This one had netting on top of it as well, to keep the kids from bouncing out I guess.
I'm left wondering whether anything would get enough light to grow under that.
OTOH if the light is enough, how on earth do they keep it mowed under there? I could see the person who has to mow it, wanting to get rid of it even for free.
I do think the idea of cutting in two to make two hoops for a hoop house is a fine idea.
Show and tell if you make one, please.

I have seen tutorials just recently about using the poles to make a round trellis too-great repurposing idea.

I saw another one for free the other day on CL. Pretty good shape. They come up pretty often around here, I think.
