The Liberated Crape Myrtle
This is a dwarf crape myrtle at the side of the garden and this is the first time it’s ever been this pretty. Must be a result of all the spring rain. It has no name as it was a reject from a breeder’s trials trying to developing a small crape with pretty flowers. I rescued it and gave it a home years ago. Now it’s saying, “Thank you!” :

It's gorgeous!
Maybe in the winter time you can remove some of the lower branches so that can enjoy looking at the exfoliating bark .
