Yes you should see frost damage right away if there is any. If not... yippee! ;)

We've had the smaller anoles of various types here for hundreds of years, but yes, the iguanas were tossed out pets. Climate, and amount of bugs here, and all our water make conditions ideal. We are really overrun. Millions. Luckily, I haven't seen them in my own yard yet, and they eat other fruits and leafy veggies, but not tomatoes.
