Another one we watched was A family Affair.
With the little boy and girl in it she was the same age as me.

She died of a drug overdose in 1976 in Ocean Side California.
The coroner said he had a never seen so many different drugs in one person.

In about ten minutes we'll watch the season opener of Alone on the History Channel. Ten participants will be taken to individual locations in the most northern place the show has ever placed people, up above the Arctic Circle to see how long they can survive. They can only have ten items they've picked from the list of gear available. With those they have to make their own shelter and feed themselves.

There's a one hour prelude introducing participants at 8pm EDT on the History Channel followed by the first episode at 9 EDT.
We've picked out our top three choices out of ten as to who could be the last one left and also have a guess or two as to who will tap out first.

I'm on my 3rd night watching it, and still haven't reached the end, yet.

To me, the supporting actors are what makes this movie a cut far above the average movie.

Cat Ballou....holy cow, that Jane Fonda was smoking. I can now see why she thought she could do or say anything and get away with it. I knew she was considered good lookin but she was only 27 or 28 when this was shot. I had seen Barbarella, which to me was just trash. I guess you're supposed to be high to watch that one.

This movie was okay, a comedy western spoof, the best part was the balladeers. About 10 more minutes of those two would have been perfect.

I never saw this on tv or even heard of it except I recently read Lee Marvin won a best actor for Cat Ballou. So I used some expiring Amazon no rush credits to "rent" it.

les misérables story by Victor Hugo.
It's one of the older ones 1978 with Richard Jordan.
It's about how horrible the common man was treated by the rich in France.
Just so as you know.
It's a great story and movie.
Should be required reading in school.

Secondhand Lions, a movie that I never knew existed until about a week ago. I basically haven't kept up with movie releases for about 25 years. I see a lot of what's in the brothers, in myself, which is likely not a surprise to a lot of you. ;)

I never knew about it until a few months ago.
I saw the add for it but the title sounded strange or something so I didn't watch it.
Then I watched it and yes it's a fantastic movie.
AND the filming locations are in my back yard.
I've driven by the restaurant that the fight took place in several times.
I know the whole area well.

I watched several good movies this weekend.
I couple of really good ones had Mel Gibson in them.
Desperation Road.
Desperation Road was fantastic and about the south.
Boneyard was crime.

One without Gibson was Winter Bones I knew people like this and they were very dangerous but there were good poor people too.
All dramas or crime.

Le Bureau des Legendes. French spy series.
I enjoy hearing different languages -- primarily French, English, Russian (all of which I'm familiar with), and Arabic (I know only one word), with a smattering of Italian, German, and other languages.
