Hello from Iowa
Hi! I'm currently in Iowa, originally from Minnesota. Two Orange Hat micros just sprouted in my aerogarden and I've got big plans for lots more fun stuff in containers on my patio this summer! This year I'll be growing

This is my first year growing from seed, last year I had a Pinata pepper plant I got from a nursery and it was so wonderful having fresh peppers. So this year I decided, the bigger the better! Let's grow way more stuff!

Welcome from the Southeast! Uh oh, it sounds like the growing bug is starting to grow on you but don't worry. It's a good thing!

Welcome from South Dakota!
I've got a couple of Golden Hour micros growing under lights right now and we did Vilma's last year and the year before. It certainly helps make the winter more fun.

Ahoy from the North Atlantic.
I'm growing in dirt indoors under lights in the winter, mostly greens which are the easiest for me in a cool house. But I have peppers started too. I love growing peppers indoors if only I can get some before aphid season comes around.
Good luck with your grow!

I forgot to mention, there's a couple Buena Mulata pepper seeds in my aerogarden too! They just haven't sprouted yet. I'm waiting SO patiently!!Bower wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 8:18 pm Ahoy from the North Atlantic.

Oh, that's too bad. Spent some time in Maxwell which is near Ames. More time in Iowa City, though.

Howdy from Texas

You can't argue with a closed mind.
You might as well be arguing with a cat.

It turns out I cannot be contained. I went out to a garden store nearby "just to look." Yeah right. I got some ground cherry seeds.

The growing bug is not a good thing. It's an illness, a plague, a deep rooted unbreakable habit. Soon it will consume your life with catalogues, spreadsheets, grow logs, long forecast weather reports, etc...
I'd run for the hills, if Iowa has any.

Oh yeah,
