Amateurinawe how come we don't see your pattern of guesses? This is like grade school math class, you need to show your work to get full credit!

@Sue_CT lol sue, well everyone knows my first two starting words if they go back on this thread and being in uk I am generally the first to do it and I'm not giving you lot an advantage over me ....
....and also on my tablet it doesn't copy over nice empty, yellow or green boxes like yours but unprintable characters instead.

The failed vowels and consonants pretty much narrowed it down as a probable "y", "r" or "n" as a next guess and got lucky

I honestly don't remember anyone's words, and I don't want hints, those are available on google if I did, but I don't see the point of playing if I was going to do that. But you can really see what the other person did and how it went for them with the grids. Nothing worse than seeing a grid with 5 tries in a row and only one blank letter, lol.

I’m not one that likes to use the same opening word time and again. Throw on the board whatever the first five letter word that comes to mind and see where that takes me, that’s the way I like to play. The idea of using hints or cheats would ruin it for me, but, hey, if that’s the way people like to do it, go for it, it isn’t like any money is at risk. Cheats and whatnot get a little more problematic when some valuable is at stake.

I have had several first words I have used and I still switch them out. I might try a new one if it seems like a good one.
