A study in stereotypes.
My coworker is an American born Latino of the Maya heritage.
He others and I were talking about food.
I made a statement the my coworkers mom cooked some of the best Chinese food around.
One guy was fully expecting me to say Mexican food.
His face kind of contorted as Chinese food came out.
Say what?
My coworker thought it was hilarious seeing the guys reaction.
We all did.
But for me it was a lesson I wanted to put forth about stereotypes.

Race doesn't restrict a person as to what they cook or eat.
I think the lesson was well received along with a hint of humor too.
