Asiatic lilies
A grow bag planted with a package of bulbs bought at a big box store. These are supposed to be a "licorice mix."

Re: Asiatic lilies
Beautiful! I used to love mine, then I got lily beetles and they destroy the plants every year now.

Re: Asiatic lilies
I bought a pack of bulbs at Lowe's and planted them in a grow bag. They came up and a few are ready to bloom any minute and a couple of others have buds but will take some more time. One of the varieties is supposed to be Black Charm. I'm waiting to see if that one lives up to its name.

"Lava Joy." You can find all kinds of varieties on the internet if you look around.

Re: Asiatic lilies
This is supposed to be Black Charm, but it looks lighter in direct sunlight.

Re: Asiatic lilies
Just for the drama effect, I was hoping it would turn out to be much darker.

Re: Asiatic lilies
This should be the last variety for this year. I have two plants left to bloom and I'm pretty sure they are Black Charm. This one is called Majestic Joy.
