Tribute Packages send dates

Just to update everyone-
ALL California participants seeds went out yesterday, so you will have them in time for the growing season! Yay!

I am waiting for one more package to arrive on Saturday, and then ALL participants seeds ( including international folks) will leave Denver either on Saturday or Monday. Another Yay!

Thank you for such great participation from this great community!

I am sure Carolyn is happy with everyone's collective efforts!

Well Heide, I received my seeds yesterday and you brought me to tears. Your Memorial pages were a wonderful addition to the package. I got through the first page and had to stop. The tears were swelling and I just couldn't see through them. I decided that I will read one quote of hers a day until I am finished. So many memories wrapped with care. I do miss that fine lady with all of her quirks and her wonderfully funny ways. I have no idea of what seeds you sent me. Gosh, I told you to send me the left-overs but there are so many. After I get through the memoirs I will look at the seeds. Thank you Heide and to all of you who contributed to Carolyn's Tribute. She would be proud and tickled pink.

Patti-Thank you so much for saying that! I tried to pull things that I thought would be meaningful to those who knew her, but also for those who didn't...

I won't spoil it for folks who have not gotten their packages, but maybe we can post it here somewhere afterwards.

Many sent seeds who knew Carolyn well, but didn't ask for seeds back. If you would like a copy of the tribute please PM me. I can email it to you or send it if you prefer.

The seeds arrived yesterday. No apologies necessary for sending just two varieties. I am very grateful to have them. I didn’t remember requesting more than that so will really enjoy these. Thoroughly enjoyed the tribute letter. It is beautiful. You have done a wonderful thing for us all! Thanks so much for your dedication to this project!

I received my seeds yesterday, what a surprise! The tribute was lovely. I am thankful for all the seeds I received. This year it's going to be very hard to pick what to grow. Thanks for letting me participate!

I wanted to pop on here to say that I received my packet in the mail and thought it was such a lovely tribute and so well done! It is obvious a lot of love and hard work went into this and, while I never got to know her before, I feel I do know her a bit now, with her spirit shining through in her words. Thank you for all of your work on this and thank you for letting me participate and share in a celebration of Carolyn.
