Houseplant forum
I'd like to suggest a houseplant forum.
Is anyone else besides me interested in one?

I would be! I am particularly partial towards Alocasia, among others.

Re: Houseplant forum
I'm game as long as I can discuss my agave and cactus collection that lives outside.
I don't have any indoor plants.
Or should I just shut up..

Well, the forum's not made, yet. So, the scope isn't set, either. I'd personally be fine with that, as long as they're potted and the species could be and sometimes are reasonably grown in a house as houseplants. Or, maybe we'd need a potted perennials forum. Houseplants could be a subforum of that.
I know some people take some houseplants outside for the warm season, such as Christmas and Easter cacti.

Re: Houseplant forum
I created the "House Plants" forum in the Containers section. That should cover all things in pots/containers, at least in my mind. Let me know if I need to make changes.

Re: Houseplant forum
There are always the 'Annuals' and 'Perennials' in the Flower Forum as well. I can't think of anything else that needs to be covered unless it's shrubs and trees.

I saw a homeless camp where some folks had a houseplant or two.

You could grow cat grass. Cats are supposed to eat it. As I understand it, cat grass is usually some such as wheat grass. People grow a pot of it inside for cats to nibble on.

Re: Houseplant forum
I was once responsible for the health and well-being of over 16,000 houseplants inside scores of commercial establishments, hotels, headquarters and even a few homes, any yellow leaf from any single plant could get me a complaint call. Talk about madness! I was paid for this, maybe .000000000000001 cents per leaf! Good job it was to develop thick skin.
I’ve got zero plants inside now, not a one, but sometimes care for my parent’s D. marginata, ming aralia, pothos, Phalaenopsis, philodendron, etc.
Here, a lot of our exterior landscaping is what are houseplants in less subtropical zones, sansevieria, ponytail palms, asparagus fern, copper plants, ginger. Philodendrons. Phoenix roebelenii.
Yes, from what I know cats allowed to nibble on greenery or grass are overall healthier than ones restricted from anything green and living.
