What happened to Fruition Seeds
Wet and windy side of a Hawaiian island, just living the dream

My.
I loved their seeds and ordered from them just last spring. They carried many unique and interesting varieties.

Re: What happened to Fruition Seeds
Their story makes no sense to me. I was looking through their online catalog via an email, and there was a link to a live video. Sadly it was a poetry reading saying goodbye.
The couple donated seeds to worthwhile organizations. This charitable endeavor violated a grant program (I can't reember the details, Cornell perhaps) which in essence funded the donations and salaries of their employees. They were able to sell seeds for only a month after the notice was given. They are now a two person operation, still doing charitable type projects, but not seed sales.
I am still on their email list, but don't follow them closely. They send many nice poems on a regular basis.I think they are focusing on trees, on-farm only now.
