I garden in the low desert 9b. We plant tomatoes in Early February and shade tomatoes in the beginning of May to preserve June harvests. I am mostly interested in early/midseason varieties that are smaller in size… Cocktail, cherry and small beefsteak/slicers. Heat tolerant is also desirable. Experimenting with dwarfs to make shading easier.
