Snow Makes 'Em Pretty

While visiting friends in Maryland last week I had a chance to check out their garden. There were a few snowflakes floating down and some had settled on the few plants left.

This was one of two cardoon plants. I didn't know they were that hardy.



A dusting of snow on the bronze fennel:



I headed back south on Monday, just in time as more snow was starting. Today I really need to take my car to the car wash and get all of that salt off of it!
