Sympathize with you Tomato! The problem with wasps, hornets and yellow jackets is they don’t die after stinging you like bees (not that I like the bees dying but one sting per insect is enough!) and can come back for more rounds if you don’t completely escape!
I don’t think a summer goes by without something getting me. Wasps are my worst enemy since I often don’t see the tiny nest when they are starting to build it and then disturb them. One year they started one inside a red currant bush and I got stung three times reaching in to pick the currants before I saw the tiny nest! Now I check first! Will be picking during the next few days!

Re: Ouch, that hurt.
I think one of the worst times I've ever experienced with ouch that hurt was when I was around 15 and a fast fuse firecracker went off in my hand between index finger and thumb.
Totally ruined the July 4th celebration.
Creepy crawlers that aren't wasps are the dreaded centipede.
I was reading a book in bed one night and my cat was on me looking at the ceiling.
I heard a scratchy noise in the ceiling light and didn't think anything of it.
Suki was just following a moth or something.
As I looked up a giant centipede fell on my chest.
The thing was of maximum size of maybe 10 inches or something.
I literally came unglued for good reason the bites from these things are one of the worst you can possibly get.
Story had it that everywhere it walked you would get bit and cause a rotten spot.
Not true but I believed it then.
Here is a picture of the trashy thing.
Imagine this looking at you from your chest.
I was horrified.

You can't argue with a closed mind.
You might as well be arguing with a cat.

I am happy if they live in not too close. Proximity matters. I used water with soap at night to remove wasp nest that was on the house.
I also have dogs and cat and not willing to have any problems.
