Does anyone have any information of Eva's Schoeneck tomato? I got the seeds in the Martin Project and have never heard of it. Would like any and all information if possible

After checking Tatiana'sTomatoBase and finding nothing about this, I looked up Schoeneck and it's a town in the German state of Saxony. Info that I found about Eva's Purple Ball says it came from Germany in the late 1800's with one mention of the Black Forest region. The Black Forest area is in a different state in the south of Germany.

Perhaps someone here from Germany can shed some light on this.

On a whim, I checked the Wisconsin data bases for an Eva Schoeneck without any results.

@Homegrwoninillinois I thought I had remembered something about Amishland Heirloom Seeds, so I did a quick search and found what I recalled.

Some folks, who I have a lot of respect for, didn't think quite so highly of AHS.

Hmm, works ok for me. @MissS, what am I doing wrong? I'm not even logged in to TV, and it still works.

The link works just fine for me. If you are a member there, can you log in on the main page? Can you view any other threads there today?
