Ptilotus manglesii - Rose tipped Mulla Mulla
Found this at the local nursery a couple of months ago and finally managed to get the two plants into the ground yesterday. Panted them close together so that they can grow through each other and hopefully the bees or other insects will pollinate them. @svalli this one is supposed to be a perennial, grows 20-30 X 20- 50 cm. Moderately frost and drought tolerant. Comes from the South West of WA. Overall seems more likely to survive long term than a lot of the other species.

Wasn't sure when I clicked on this whether it would be a plant, a bird or a weirdly cute animal. You never know with Australia stuff.

Please post more pictures when the season progresses. It will be interesting seeing how those will grow.
