Feel free to list them and I will add them to the above list as long as you have done business with them, had good customer service and seeds that grew true to type. Anyone else is welcome to list vendors that they recommend as well.

Shipping within Canada for a flat rate of $5. Last time I checked, they will also ship to the USA for a flat rate of $10.

Re: Canadian Vendor's for Tomato Seeds.
I ordered some non-tomato seeds from Annapolis this year. Fast service and shipping! And the shipping is a flat rate.
They have some unusual things that you can't find elsewhere, like perennial wheat.
And they sent me a bonus pack of cukes to try.

Re: Canadian Vendor's for Tomato Seeds.
I would also mention William Dam as a great place to buy seeds, with excellent prices on larger seed amounts and decent price on the gardener's small pack as well. Their tomato seeds are a mix of heirlooms and hybrids, and I haven't bought tomato seeds there (or anywhere! Thanks Gary and Nicky
) But my farmer friend also had good things to say about them - always good seed and a great value for your dollar.

I couldn't describe the shipping as fast, although they did fill my order and get it out within two weeks during the busy season. However IMO the value is worth the wait.

Don't forget Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seed Shop, which is closed until fall, but is a pretty awesome Canadian seed store. Others may want to vouch for it, though, as I'm not Canadian. I know a lot of people from at least one other forum liked it. It used to have more tomatoes than almost anywhere else. Note that the store is a separate entity from the database (but there is a link to it from the database; the link above is the store link). Not all the items in the database are in the store.

I could never forget Tatiana's. I just did not add it to the list yet because it's not open and did not want to disappoint people when they clicked on the link and could not purchase from there.
How is Tat? Any news about her mother?

Good to know.
I don't know Tania well, or even anything about a situation with her mother—but we have interacted a few times in the not-so-recent past, and I've observed her and others who know her (we've mostly only interacted on her wiki when I signed up to contribute, though, and up to a few short exchanges of information on another forum). I hope things are well, though.

Re: Canadian Vendor's for Tomato Seeds.
I checked Tatiana's FB page for an update. It still has the same message. Her mother went into the woods to go mushroom hunting and never returned. They were losing any hope. This was back in October. I guess that she is still missing. So, very very sad. I wish her and her family peace.Shule wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2020 2:06 pm @MissS forum

I would include the Seeds of Diversity website as well. It is an amazing resource for those looking for seeds of specific varieties for sale in Canada.

Re: Canadian Vendor's for Tomato Seeds.
I have ordered from a number of aforementioned seed houses. One not included that I recommend is Greta's Organic Gardens in Ottawa. Great response to email questions, lower cost as there are more seeds per pack, fast shipping and seeds that have excellent germination and are true to type. Lots of tomato varieties, plus other veg.

Too many tomatoes, not enough time.

Re: Canadian Vendor's for Tomato Seeds.
I read that Greta from Greta's Organics is retiring and the company/seed inventory will likely be sold. Not sure what this evolves into, so I'm withdrawing my recommendation for now.

MissTee I didn't know she was retiring and selling the business, thank you for posting to let us know. She has an amazing selection of varieties available and I have only heard good things about the customer service. I hope whoever takes over her business does it equal justice, after all her years of hard work.

I received an e-mail earlier this week stating that her son's family was taking over the business.

+1 for Jeff Casey ! I happen to have grown his Casey's Pure Yellow this season and it was very tasty as well as very productive. He is an excellent seed source.

Re: Canadian Vendor's for Tomato Seeds.
This Spring, I ordered tomato seeds from the PEI Seed Alliance. I was happy with the the germination rates. I find they offer some interesting and less common Canadian heirlooms, too.
