I haven't been taking pictures of most of my poor unfortunates this year, but here's a misfit cucumber for the collection. Only got four cukes before the deer chowed down on the plants and drought finished them off. This was one of the four, so it was treasured despite its aesthetic shortcomings.

Check out the yellow Uzbek carrot to the left! That's a strange one. And the kohlrabis aren't the nice, round, smooth fruits I'm used to. But it'll all fit in my stomach just fine!

Come gather 'round people / Wherever you roam / And admit that the waters

Around you have grown / And accept it that soon / You'll be drenched to the bone

If your time to you is worth savin'/ And you better start swimmin' / Or you'll sink like a stone

For the times they are a-changin' / Bob Dylan
