Something icky on my zukes!

Collective wisdom, there's something icky on my zukes! My PictureThis! app does diagnose, but telling me it's an insect on a squash isn't all that helpful. It doesn't look like an aphid and there are no eggs on the underlying leaf side. I have removed them from the plant and bagged them for the garbage. This is happening to newer leaves, not older ones. Does anyone know what this actually is, and how best to deal with it?

Come gather 'round people / Wherever you roam / And admit that the waters

Around you have grown / And accept it that soon / You'll be drenched to the bone

Hmm, never had that one before! At least I’ve done right by discarding the infected parts. I’ll be keeping a very close eye on the remaining plants! Thanks! Danged aphids 🤬
