We have river races here riding in the big ones. It's a fun family event for fall.
My mom and I used to grow the BIG Ones way back when big was 300-500 lbs. I wouldn't even know how to move one of the giants these days. I had a 500 lb one once and I couldn't get it to the weigh offs. One of the judges came and helped me out and it turned out to be the states largest for that year.

@Tormato mine too were grown on pallets. It helps to prevent bottom rot, keep critters from eating them and promotes easier moving them. Single little ladies just don't keep a fork lift handy. I just don't know why not though it's a better idea than trying to roll them up the hill.
