Hello from Germany!
Hello there!
My name is Frosti and this is my third tomato season. I'm located in Germany (Bavaria). This year I'm growing around 50 tomato variaties, most of which are crosses from my own little dwarf tomato project (everything is still very much a work in progress). Three years ago, I decided to cross my two favorite tomatoes from that season, simply on a whim. One of the two was a micro, as it turnes out. What can I say? Once I had seen the intermediate dwarf growth habit I was hopelessly hooked. I just HAD to have all of my favorite tomatoes in that form factor
. It was only later that I found out, that I'm not alone with my passion for those sturdy little plants. Anyway, some of those lines are more interesting than others, not because they are more delicious, but because their genetics are more intriguing (I experimented with a few wild tomato cousins). I'll write a post about one of those soon.
I guess that's all for now. Glad I found this place, after trying to get into Tomatoville for a while and finally giving up.

You can't argue with a closed mind.
You might as well be arguing with a cat.

Welcome!
There are lots of fellow breeders here who love a good saga. I know the genetics of dwarfing are complicated and strange, so it will be a real pleasure to hear of your adventures.

Hello and welcome to the Junction. I'm so glad that you found us here. Many of our members are members from Tomatoville. This group started when the 'ville ran into some problems.
We love tomato breeding projects here and we will be waiting to here more about your work.
