Hello from PNW!
Hello, everyone. I'm Kat, from the PNW, the Seattle area specifically. I started growing cherry tomatoes in Earthboxes three years ago when I decided that spending $10 a week on them at the grocery store was a bit too much. That kickstarted a bit of a gardening obsession in me. This year I'm growing 13 kinds of tomatoes, a bunch of greens, carrots, celery, beans, peppers, tomatillos, zuchinni and more!
While I'm certainly very enthusiastic, I've never had a real garden before this year. My family growing up were the grass lawn and shrub sorts, so I have never had a chance to grow things before my spouse and I bought our house. I have a lot to learn! I look forward to learning from you all!

A warm welcome to the Junction kitkatkat! You certainly dived right on in growing all of that in your first year. Good on you! There are many people here that have lots of experience and love to help so ask away anytime you want that's what this place is all about.

Cherry tomatoes are awesome. I'm excited to hear more about your tomatillos and what you do with them.
