Hi from Greece
Greetings to the friendly company here,
I'm Stelios from Rhodes island, Greece.
I'm also a tomatoville member quite a few years now, though not that active. I greet you all here too. This year I sowed seeds of several tomato varieties after some years of not growing anything. I have a huge collection of seeds and worry how long they can survive waiting for their turn to be sowed. I don't have space and I move often and the last years I was extremely busy and that's the reason why I can't grow them. However, always on the look for new outstanding varieties!
One question for those who can answer: can I find tomato seeds of a company that only sells grown plants? More specifically I'm talking about asllani's albanian heirloom of michiganheirlooms. Can I find somewhere the seeds to buy? Or anyone already have some

Welcome, Stelios from Pennsylvania. You live in a magnificent place! Rhodes is one of our favorite destinations for travel!
Looking forward to hearing how your old tomato seeds do! When do tomatoes grow best in your climate?

Hi Swordy, we know each other from Doc and Katie's. I don't know where to find the seeds you ask for, but Secret Seed Cartel always grows all her own seeds to sell. She has great varieties.

Hello and Welcome to the Junction swordy. Perhaps a member has seed but if not may I suggest that you contact Michigan Heirlooms and plead for a few seeds. Maybe since you are across the pond they will have mercy and send some on to you.

Thank you for the welcoming! Yes I love this place. I'm not from here though, I just work and live here for the last 10 years.
Even though the climate is mild and there can't be freezing temperatures, still it's not ideal to grow tomatoes in winter, if it's outside a greenhouse. Personally, I sow seeds in February and I plant outside late March or early April. First fruit comes early in June. That's from my experience.

Welcome, swordy!
I searched and didn't find any places to buy seeds for the Asllani's Albanian Heirloom tomato.
I found a Facebook group, and a post about AAH, but that's all:

Howdy from Austin, Texas. If there were a tomato variety from Rhodes named "Colossus," how large could it be?
Refrain from calculating the total number of poultry...before the process of incubation has fully materialized.

Haha nice question! Unfortunately, as far as I know, there is no local tomato though. However there is a beefsteak type huge one in a nearby island (Lesbos island) which is called "krasoulia ayasou".Harry Cabluck wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 6:29 pm Howdy from Austin, Texas. Telepathologist (you get my thinking here) ? Travel correspondent ? Time traveller ? Tanker captain ? Tailor ? Tank driver ? Tactical intelligence officer ? Tai chi instructor ? Taxi driver ? Tax collector ? Technical something ? Tap dancer ? Tanner ? Tattooist ? Telecommunication something ? Theology professor ? Transverse abdominal muscle surgeon ? Last guess , tomato grower ?
