Re: greasy beans
I'd like to try some but I'm afraid it's too hot here. You won't even find them down here but I've seen a few at some of the feed and seeds in North Georgia and then up in the Blue Ridge. Cade's Cove. That's not far from Cherokee, NC.
Just yesterday on my way to looking up something else, I stumbled on this website that has a ton of greasy beans. A bit pricey though.

Re: greasy beans
I grew Doyce Chambers and Whitey Swanger and got them confused as to which was the best, so am growing one at a time. I have about 55 varieties planted, both pole and bush. Just a couple seeds of each, most of them are for drying. I mix them all together. Another bean site, great pictures.

I'm growing pink tip greasy. They are just beginning to bloom and aren't doing as well as the white half runners. We will see. First year growing them here.
