Tomato was Cleota Pink.
Next week when I am home I will sow seeds for the new season. Hopefully, will get a full 2 pounder this season.

@Barb_FL That is another beauty! I do hope that you are saving seeds from it. If you would like to send me some it would be great so that I can send them out to others for next years competition. If we keep saving seeds from our biggest tomatoes then the weights should be increasing as we go on.

Re: Largest Tomato Photo Contest
Sure thing; I didn't save too much from last season but will send seeds late December / early January from what I plan to grow. Timing should be good for the rest of the country.MissS wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 7:15 pm @Barb_FL That is another beauty! I do hope that you are saving seeds from it. If you were talking about the Mega Marv, it always taste good. Very meaty, not much seeds and juices. One thing I like about this variety is even though there are catfacing, I almost never seen the skin cracks even after big rain, the plant do drink a lot of water though.

Quite small compared to some of the others shown here. ... but humour me please. It's the biggest one I've ever grown, by quite some margin!

@Tim DH That's impressive, especially coming from a dwarf variety. A lovely color too.
