Too bad I'm not seeing anything. We had a nice little sunset below that big blue sky. Chance of auroras peaked soon after, according to the map and forecast at NOAA it is far north of here tonight, although I still thought I might catch a glimpse in the distance.
These pages are super cool, I will definitely look it up next time there's a good chance of seeing them.

Unfortunately we had clouds covering the sky, so we could not see the northern lights. The nights are also so short this time of the year that we would need to stay up or wake up after midnight to look at the sky.
Last winter northern lights were visible here many times, but we mainly got the green ones.

This fall has had many nights with auroras lighting the sky. Finally I was awake to see them. Pictures are taken on our backyard.
