As for the pawpaw seeds, do you have them air-sealed and slightly damp, so that they don't dry out?

I was away from home, computer, and garden for months. As for the pawpaw seeds, yessir, they're being kept cold and damp.

Were your Farthest North melons bagged or isolated to prevent crossing? I've been wanting this one, but I'd like to be able to save pure seeds from it if it does well for me.

Sorry, I did not bag any blooms on my melons. I grew the four listed above and no other vegetables besides tomatoes and peppers if that makes any difference.

I planted the seeds from the vendor and collected seeds from the three melons that grew. I planted this variety late to replace my watermelon that died from transplant shock. So, I only got a few fruits. The melons were all similar in phenotype. They were basically small 1lb cantaloupes with orange flesh. Similar to the picture on the vendor website.

It's supposed to be a short season grex with the standard traits being small, early, and cold tolerant, but variable in color, etc.

I started a new job 2 months ago and have not had a lot of time in whats left of my garden or the yard so its been fun and very relaxing to go thru my seed stash and get ready for the swap. I will probably be posting more questions before I get my bubble envy in the mail

I didn't mark them with dates... They went into the fridge during pawpaw season, so around September 15. They came out of the fridge today, November 15. My stuff was mailed today. The package says "refrigerate on arrival" and the pawpaw seeds are the first thing you see when you open it. The seeds will be OK, I think, since last year I picked seeds off the ground which had been in the natural warm/cold and wet/dry of the weather here (and I had reports of germination). I don't think the trip, esp. in an unheated truck, will hurt them.

I also have sent in seeds of Salvia "Coral Nymph". The sheet erroneously says '"salvia 'starlight rose'" but the seed packets have the proper labels in them. Salvia "Coral Nymph" is one gorgeous flower, everyone!
