My kettle was too full so I had to eat some of it off the get the rest of the food in.
The 1 pound of shrimp and the rest of the chicken.
This chicken is getting browned off with flour salt and chili powder in homemade lard.
Put it all in the kettle after the remaining dredging flour was browned too oil and all.
No need to bring this to a boil.
It never was boiling.
Temperature up to around 160 or so.

I think I have had 6 bowls so far.
No rice and I don't really care if it offends someone for not having rice with it. :lol:
Nor is it spicy hot.
Not a fan of it if you can believe that.
I like crackers with gumbo and hot sauce on the side.
I did put gumbo file in it though.
