Thank you for the offer! I do have a billion seed baggies for the mmmm trade. I was going to reoly with the intention of turning it down and as I am trying this out and exhausted from cleabing out an attic today, loading donations, and collapsing 100+ boxes and bagging 7 large trashbags, it just seems like a great idea because... Seeds... Do you have the extra for it?

This also sounds tempting. I feel like i am hearing these chants of: "do it! Do it! Do it!" Coming from the sidelines.

You have a couple of months to come up with a few choices. It's unknown at this point what is coming in, though. By early-mid December, things will be clearer.Julianna wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2024 10:08 pmThis also sounds tempting. I feel like i am hearing these chants of: "do it! Do it! Do it!" And, just think, with only one post, or a couple of edits, you can knock your average editing per swap down to the high teens or low twenties.

Not used by anyone in the swap, but there is an OPTION of requesting just a couple of wanted tomatoes, peppers, flowers, etc...

As I chop up my tomato plants and discover nematode damage on roots — some of it even in beds where we laboriously chopped up and incorporated a nematode-suppressing cover crop — this option is looking more and more appealing. I’ve found a few nematode- resistant varieties I like, so it will still be a good tomato year if that is all I can grow for a year. Of course I’ll still try to grow other stuff, but this time of year, faced with a rampant tomato jungle to chop up, makes me think of scaling back….
