3.6 pound point just went into the slow cooker. The potatoes and carrots will join the point at hour 3, the cabbage at hour 5. Six hour cook on high. Good looking point, not overly fatty.

I have a cabbage waiting in the fridge, the potatoes in a dark cupboard, now’s the time to dig up the carrots.

I bought a nice fatty well marbled USDA select bone in chuck roast I'm probably going to corn for corned beef.
No law says it has to be brisket.
