Hi! from the City of Angels!
Hi! I love to grow tomatoes and I am so happy to have found this wonderful place filled with like-minded peeps! This year I'm adding dwarfs in grow bags to my line up and I can't wait to see how they do in my garden; never grew dwarfs before let alone in bags!

Sorry that I can't help. I've grown many "dwarfs" in containers with success but I have never grown tomatoes in bags before. I'm sure that someone with that experience can help you out.

Welcome from the North Atlantic. I think bags are similar to other containers. But they may have an advantage because roots get aeration from all sides. Don't forget to post some pics and show us how it works out.

That's interesting because I was thinking the small plastic hanging bags with less than a gallon or so of growing medium. When we "talk" pouches.... to me, those are containers... with aeration.....

Hello fellow Angeleno!
Looking forward to reading about and your tomato growing progress! Which part of LA? Maybe we have similar growing climates?

Welcome to the Junction! I'm growing dwarf tomatoes but not in grow bags. Good luck, let us know how they work for you.
