observation on uncle steve italian plum
my uncle steve tomatoes traditionally are somewhat variable in size.
there are the 6 to 12 0z ones, and then there are the big uns that are one pound or more in size.
this year i have one plant that is producing mostly large ones, and the second plant is mostly the
smaller size except for one branch that is producing the larger size. i traced the branches back to
the main stem. they are the same plant. i am always on the look out for crossing since i don't bag
blossoms.
for those of you growing uncle steve, i know the gotch is, feel free to report your results, and if you
may have something that may be crossed.
