Tips for dealing with stale chips.

I'm going to chime in here because chips of all kinds are really expensive now.
I would suspect many thousands of dollars worth of chips are tossed in the trash every year if not month.
They aren't really stale they are basically rehydrated by humidity.
Just toss them in the oven on a sheet or whatever and turn the oven on about 225 or so and walk away.
Just not so hot it will bake them.
Later you can pull a nice crispy Chip out of the oven.
Works great for corn tortilla chips and well.
Rancid corn tortilla chips are horrible and can't be saved.
A bag of Fritos is over 5 dollars now.
