Last year the Home Depot here put their concrete pavers on sale for 25 cents each. We bought a bunch and they've been so handy for everything from holding down plant covers to setting under things. I see they also have their dog-eared 5/8 in x 5-1/2 in x 6' fence boards on sale for $1.48. We bought some to lay over sawhorses to make a table for porch plants and hardening off garden plants. Those things have lasted for some years now. Over a year they bend a little but just flipping them over cures that. I'm going to get a few more for... well, I know I can use them for something!

Clarification: If your store has them you might see "Not available for pick up". That only applies to pre-pulled orders that you'd call in and then go get. There's a little "i" next to the number of bricks in-store that says:

"Not Eligible for Order Pickup. While this item is in stock at a store near you, it is not eligible for Order Pickup. Visit your local Home Depot to purchase in store. "
