Azaleas Starting To Bloom

It's getting to be azalea time. The early blooming kurume azaleas planted along the edge of the woods are doing their thing. I don't prune them and have just let them go native so they're a bit scraggly and they fit in with everything else there. This is 'Snow':

And this is 'Coral Bells' which is just starting but is loaded with buds:

Master's Week in nearby Augusta is April 8-14 this year, not far away. It's the only golf tournament I watch every year, mainly because all the best golfers are there and I also love to look at what's blooming around that exquisite course. The azaleas should be amazing this year and 1.5" of rain today has knocked down a lot of that early yellow pine pollen. Thank goodness!
