It's hot. I thought I had lived through the worst in1980 and 20ll, but this one is hotter than normal. 58 years

After a week of feels like temps above 110 and humidity at or above 80%. It is now 68 degreesF. This lasts for 2 days and back into the heat. Didn't realize I lived in the southeast.

Nebraska has some of the wildest temperature swings anywhere in the country. You can thank those winds from the west coming over the Rockies.

Today was the first day in the month of August that stayed below 100 degrees. I always pray for September to arrive quickly and bring cooler weather. This year, it seems the hot weather will persist well into September. We usually get nine months of pleasant weather and three months of ridiculously hot weather.

Not like it is and has been, but I am suspecting Thanksgiving will be quite warm yet this year. And then end of December/early January will be iced up. I hope not, but I seem to recall the weather pattern like that.

currently 50 degrees, going down to 47 over night. a little too early for my liking but nature happens here too.
