I don't think this is passion fruit?

my sister gave me them to germinate for her, and the seeds do look like passion fruit. But the leaves are fuzzy on top and not glossy at all. Also afraid the leaves won't be edible.

I remember took almost three weeks for them to germinate. Could be possible the three seeds I sow in the same cup didn't germinate and precisely three other weed plants came up.

I went and bought actual live passion fruit plant to be safe. So the unknown plant has grown into a vine, but its leaves are thin and hairy, unlike the thick and glossy leaves of passion fruit. I'll grow it in some corner and see what the heck it will become.

You may have the straight species rather than a selected cultivar growing. Often if seeds from a fallen passionfruit germinate they produce a plant with a thinner leaf than the selected clones which are often grafted

I think I know what it might be, but I don't know what its called. It seems to be in the same family as passion fruit, similar looking flower, but it doesn't produce big fruits but pods with the seeds in it. Asian websites seem to be selling the dry leaves as herbal tea.
