Braised Beef Cheeks.

No I didn't eat all the shanks. :lol:
I'm stocking up on cold weather food I can prepare after work.
This one is going to be delicious for sure.
Carmalized onions in pure butter and then tossed in crushed whole garlic.
Next carrots celery and more onion.
Three onions total.
Let that cook while beef cheek was browning.
Put in the beef cheeks.
Poured enough sangria wine to almost cover.
Added 1 teaspoon Knorr beef bullion powder.
Sliced up Granny Smith apples and covered.
Sprinkled with nutmeg black pepper allspice and cinnamon.
Covered and placed in slow oven at 225F.

Off to the cooling chamber.
Melt in your mouth tender and fruity.
Not a bad return on $7.50 worth of meat.
