Does anyone have a few extra Frank's pepper seeds that Sand Hill Preservation Center sells and would like to trade?
I can trade one of the following that I bought for this year:
Sand Hill Preservation Center:
Nick's Thin Skin
Little Bells
Earlired
Red Wonder
Italian Sweet Frying
From Pinetree Garden Seeds:
Sweet Banana
Hungarian Yellow Wax
Early Jalapeno
From Tomato Grower's Supply:
Jupiter
Gypsy F1
Thanks!

Send me a PM with a mailing address. And, if you're looking for anything else, peek at the 2021 Master List peppers thread.

Resurrecting an old thread to draw attention to this variety.
This year one Frank's Pepper seed germinatesd from a bunch of old MMMM swap seeds. Very tasty and way under rated! It's stature looked like a mini apple tree, really different from anything else in the pepper patch. I was waiting for the peppers to turn red to save seeds, but they never did. I'm kicking myself for not saving seeds from a greenie, just in caee.I hope more people will see this and keep it in circulation.

I grew some Frank’s pepper (seeds from the mmmm swap) a year or two ago. The peppers were about 4 inches long by half an inch wide, and very prolific. Not true to type!
Sandhill Preservation still lists this variety, but it was not available in 2024.

Yes, that describes my plant as well. Thank you for posting. I did not remember the original researching. Whatever the name, it was a nice addition to the pepper area, especially for snacking on while working. Now the effort continues for two pepper varieties.
