You heard it, a peanut butter and onion sandwich.
Some time ago I was thinking of outlandish ideas on food combinations and came up with this concoction.
Looking it up on line to my surprise I found out it was Ernest Hemingway's favorite sandwich.
Or so it is said.
Finally got around to making one for tomorrow's lunch.
The dreaded peanut butter and onion sandwich.

For some reason that doesn't surprise me. Peanut butter can overpower most other flavors, I've noticed (of the flavors I've tried with it).

Probably with the right onion.

I think a stronger onion is in order.
I don't normally keep peanut butter in the house.
First jar in over a year.

It's peanut butter and banana, here.

Honey pairs well with peanut butter, too.
