One of my favorite bands. Grew up on Fandango & Tres Hombres but my favorite will always be Deguello.

Yeah I just heard about this on the X.
Making me feel really old.
Been a fan since the beginning.
Live just and I mean just down the road from La Grange.
About 15 20 minutes of you're driving hard in a big ole Chrysler.
Can't count how many times we fired one off to La Grange.
Even dove hard all night from West Texas to pick magic mushrooms in La Grange.
What a story that is.
Rest in peace Dusty.

Another good listen. Saw them many times over the last 40 years. Loudest concert I've ever attended. No wonder I can't hear now.

ZZ top is definitely not Woke.
I used to get off the school bus and split wood for the fire in the wood stove.
And I would take my stereo outside and play music.
ZZ Top was always the list.
I really did drive that old Chrysler to Mexico few years later and to Acuna too.
I'll leave the details out.
1968 Chrysler 2 door New Yorker with a 440 just like the one in the picture.
Not a self fulfilling prophecy but just by accident.
Mexican Blackbird.
