Persimmon problem

My persimmon got tiny dark cracks on its leaves, and lower leaves started dropping off. The same happened last year and all the set fruit fell off. It stopped when I spayed it with fungicide, but I've already sprayed this year, twice. The tree also didn't grow one bit last year. Does anyone know what this is about? Persimmon is still rare fruit here, so don't know anybody who has it, and I can't find a match on the net.

Persimmons grow well here. I’ve got a couple of wild persimmon trees on my property. That looks like iron chlorosis from soil that’s has Ph value that is too high. Looking at a general map of soil Ph values for Europe, that region is known for high Ph values.

Link describes ways to adjust soil Ph for persimmons.
