yesterday at work, i gave a couple vaccines to a husband and wife, both in their 70s.
the wife is very nice, never sen her ruffled. she is the type that you could screw up her prescription
six different ways, and not have it ready, and she would say thats ok, i'll come back later.i wish we had
a hundred more just like her. her husband is a character with a rather jovial sense of humor.
he told me one time, when they were living on the east coast, they went to a store to get immunizations.
there was a long line he said. after he came out from getting his shot, just for kicks, he was holding his butt,
moaning and groaning with each step past the line of people. they were happy to see us leave he said.
another time, they were on a ferry going to and from nantucket. rough water he said. people were getting queasy.
he said he doesn't get sea sick. he got a coney island all loaded up. he was strolling around, chowing down, walking
past people that were retching. they wouldn't let us back on the boat he said.

This is so funny but a good idea in a bad situation too.

Since the electric snow plows failed miserably in New York City the City of Los Angeles is buying them from New York where they should work without any problems.
