I just wanted to let you know that I received the seeds I ordered from Renaissance Farms. Though I ordered them on 2/2 and they were delivered on 2/28, they did send the seeds.

I ordered from Artisan Seeds last Wednesday and my seeds arrived this morning. I thought that was pretty impressive turnaround, especially for this busy time of year.

I wanted to add that I had two good experiences with Etsy sellers this year. I don't have much experience buying seeds on Etsy, but both of these sellers had really good ratings. Both shops have a good selection and my germination was 85-100% with each of the varieties I tried. And all three orders I made came within a week.

Just for your information, Mr. Tomatohead is the same person as is papadennis on ebay. Both of his stores have 100% feedback.

I got seeds from Woodland Creationz both last year and this year. I got great germination both times and was happy with the tomato plants last year. I assume the same will be the case this year (the seedlings are just getting ready to be moved from their seed trays). Last year I had some questions about one variety and the seller answered quickly and knowledgeably.

So I just tried to order some seeds from Croatian Seeds but couldn't get to the shipping page. I emailed them and got this reply back:
"Hi, sorry, but stopped with shipping to USA, because of your USDA. They
started to open the shipments and destroy the seeds ..."
Grrrrrrr, how annoying.

I'm so sorry to hear that. This was a great vendor with a wonderful selection and very good service. Of course we all knew the risks and that this was coming. I'm going to leave her on the list in case things change. This is a wonderful company.

I have added Bounty Hunter Seeds to the list. I had very good service and now am having good germination from my order. I feel confident with this vendor.

I am getting good germination with my seeds from there also. Looking forward to buying from them again.

I just had a great experience ordering from this new to me vendor.
https://uprisingorganics.com/
I ordered 2 kinds of Fava beans and 1 bush bean, none of which I had come across from my usual sources.
They are in Bellingham, WA - about as far from me as you can get, and I received them today after ordering on Sunday 10/30.

I wonder how much that time portal costs them?

I guess at least they tell you ahead of time so you know what to expect

I got a message tonight that they're going out tomorrow, so it was actually a 5 day wait. I suppose it's nice to know what the wait time could be, but I was thinking if that was the expected wait time to ship it might be a deal killer.

@Lemonboy Most of the vendors put a lengthy wait time on filling their orders during Covid due to the very very high demand. Most likely they have just not taken it down because supplies are still very unstable.

They have such a great list of tomatoes! I was thinking about ordering from them because they have half the varieties I want for a local tomato-plant sale.

My order was 8 packs of seed. It was processed quickly and I thought the price was reasonable. I'd recommend them.

Just a note: I am experiencing some difficulties with Victory Seed. I placed an order with them on Nov. 7. I did not receive a confirmation nor have I received a shipping notice. On Nov. 8 I again placed an order with the exact same result but this time I did enclose a note to tell them that their system not working properly. My bank has been charged for both orders. This company does not supply you with any way to contact them such as a phone or email.

I see the company changed ownership in June 2022 and is now located in Texas instead of Oregon. I may be mistaken, but it looks like the new owner is the guy who founded Davesgarden.org. Was that already discussed here, and I missed it? A little write-up mentioning the change is here:
https://garden.org/greenpages/view/122/ ... d-Company/
Also, they've decided to start selling some hybrid seeds, which is new for the company.
Email address plus a contact form is on this page:
https://victoryseeds.com/pages/contact. They also respond to comments on Facebook if you're a Facebook user. Please let us know what happens with your orders. I'll be sad if it turns out they're no longer a reliable supplier.
